What is Capital City?

A mixed-use district in Ontario, California, built around Toyota Arena and a public plaza. Dining, retail, entertainment, hospitality, residences and public space on the same walkable ground.

Developed by ADEPT Urban in partnership with the City of Ontario, with leasing handled by CBRE. Read the vision.

Where exactly is it?

In Ontario, California, in the Inland Empire, directly beside Toyota Arena and the Ontario Convention Center, between Ontario Center Parkway and Concours Street. Ontario International Airport and Ontario Mills are both minutes away.

When does it open?

Phase One delivery targeted for 2027. Lots A and B are under construction now, with vertical construction underway across the site.

What is in Phase One?

Two buildings and the Plaza between them. Edge on Lot A carries ~27,000 SF of Plaza-fronted restaurant space below about ~400 residences. Echo on Lot B carries ~22,000 SF of everyday ground floor below about ~200 residences.

Explore Edge or explore Echo.

What is the difference between the master plan and the site plan?

The master plan is the whole district: Lots A to K, future phases, public space, parking and circulation around Toyota Arena. A site plan is the detailed plan of one building: Edge has suites A1 to A6, Echo has B1 to B6. Explore the master plan or see the Phase One site plan.

What comes after Phase One?

Lots C through K carry the district past its first two buildings, with public space reserved in the plan. Uses are announced as each phase moves forward.

How big are the available spaces?

Edge supports spaces from roughly 2,000 to 30,000 SF; Echo from roughly 1,800 to 11,350 SF. Suites combine where they touch, and sizes can be tailored to operator needs. See available spaces.

What is the Arena Effect?

Toyota Arena is a 11,000+ seat venue with 300+ event nights a year. Those crowds empty into the Plaza, and the Plaza opens onto the restaurants, so the walk from seat to table never leaves the district.

Is the district only busy on event nights?

No. Arena crowds are the peak, not the model. Ontario Mills draws 28M visitors a year, Ontario International moves 7.1M passengers, and 3,000+ residences within a mile. See the trade area.

Are there residences?

Yes. Approximately ~600 homes across the two Phase One buildings, directly above the ground floor. Floor plans and availability are released as Phase One takes shape. Join the residential interest list.

How do I lease a space?

Send the leasing form with your concept, the building you have in mind and the approximate square footage you need. The CBRE team handles inquiries directly. Request leasing information.

Who do I contact?

Commercial leasing runs through CBRE; the team is listed on the leasing page. For everything else, use the contact page.

Are the images on this site photographs?

Both. Sections marked "photographed on site" are real photographs of Toyota Arena and the construction. Everything else is a rendering of the design.
